Located in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, this residence reinterprets traditional colonial architecture with refined proportions and sweeping, curvilinear roof forms. The sculptural roofline adds movement while preserving a timeless suburban presence.
As architect, construction manager, and owner’s representative, I led the project from concept through completion, coordinating closely with builders and craftsmen to execute the complex roof geometry and precise exterior detailing. The façade balances symmetry with subtle variation, featuring well-proportioned windows, high-quality materials, and refined trim.
The expressive roof shapes both the exterior and interior, creating varied ceiling heights and enhancing natural light. The project offers a thoughtful evolution of colonial design, blending traditional principles with contemporary expression and precise execution.
