TO DO ARCHITECTURE, DO YOU HAVE TO BE CLOSE TO THE BUILDING SITE TO DO THEIR WORK PROPERLY?

Architects do most of their work remotely. After the initial site visit, we typically work off Civil Engineer’s site plans and communicate with clients via text, email, FaceTime or zoom.

WHAT DO OWNERS REPRESENTATIVES COST?

That is a complicated question to answer. In many cases, as the owners Authorized Representative (OAR) our fees are often offset by the savings we find for you. First we value engineer construction documents to uncover cost effective ways to build the project. We then implement LEED building methods (when possible) to acquire certifications that reduce property taxes and save energy for a long term savings. Along with reducing insurance rates and protecting you from loosing money due to contractor changes or law suits, the OAR costs little to nothing.
